Microsoft Dynamics CRM SharePoint is a technique of document management.
We can manage the document in Microsoft Dynamics using share-point.
Dynamics supports two ways of SharePoint integration
1-Server based share-point integration.
2-List component share-point integration.
Microsoft Dynamics supports Server based SharePoint integration, the reason is List components requires complex installation and configuration and it works only some cases like higher version of Dynamics CRM and it is difficult to activate.
Example for Server based SharePoint integration.
To enable Server based SharePoint integration navigate to settings –> Document management as shown below.
Make the enable Server-Based SharePoint Integration.
Click on next.
Select which type of deployment On-Premise or Online and then click on Next.
Click the Enabled.
Now enable of server based SharePoint integration is done, now go to Document Management Settings.
It will show window in which document management enable on the entity what you have selected.
Now click on next.
It will make enable the Document management on share point of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Now go to the entity open the record as bellow..
Open the record & go on the top of navigation pane as bellow..
Click on the pane.
Click on the document.
Click on Upload.
Now choose your file location and upload in your share point it will show you…
