    • Scope: In TSP, scope of the project is done through Forecasting at Opportunity and Quote level. Estimated hours and estimated cost of the project can be derived at the Opportunity level or Quote level by forecasting. So at the scope level itself it gives the variance between the actual budget and the customer budget.
    • Project Planning: In TSP, project planning is done with the built-in Gantt chart functionality including activities and duration. You can assign your activities to a single resource or multiple resources .The Drag and Drop feature will help to adjust the timelines easy and fast. In TSP, Project records can be created instantly using the predefined templates that has the detailed information of resources, and estimated work schedule.
    •  Optimize Project Resources: Consolidates available resource based on their work schedule (through Gantt + scheduler and Top view scheduler features), role, skill set and resource cost who are later utilized in to different project works. It also balances resource workloads across multiple projects by effective resource time and task allocation.

  • OneNote Integration in Dynamics 365

    • Integration of OneNote with Dynamics 365 creates notebook is automatically for the selected entity records in Dynamics 365.
    • This feature provides you the ability to easily take notes in the context of a Dynamics 365 record in various formats such as pictures, drawings, formatted text (bullet points and tables), and voice recordings in a OneNote notebook.
    • You can access the OneNote notebook directly on the activity wall in the Dynamics 365 web client or from the record form in the Dynamics 365 mobile apps.
    • Pre requisite for OneNote integration is SharePoint integration.

     

    Below are the steps to enable OneNote Integration:

    Step 1: Turn on server-based SharePoint integration

    • Go to Settings - > Document Management -> Enable Server-Based SharePoint Integration
    • Click on Next
    • Click on Next
    • To get the URL of SharePoint click on the navigation to other application

    • Click on SharePoint and copy the URL and past in the below enter URL then click on ok

    • Click on Next.
    • Click on Finish. After we’re set up the CRM to SharePoint integration, we just have a few simple steps to enable the use of OneNote integration. This is show below:

    Step 2: Turn on OneNote integration

    • Go to Settings - > Document Management -> OneNote integration

    • Select the entities on which you need to integrate OneNote and then click on finish button.

    • Next go to account entity and open a record you can see the OneNote integrated on the account entity.

    • Click on OneNote.

    • Next click on the untitled then we can implement the data in the OneNote.

    • User can add section and page for more in the OneNote Click on the above highlighted.

    • The user can share the link and share the document.

    • The user can draw the data, print the data, and insert the data too.

    • If the user want more entitles then the existed entity.

    • Go to settings -> customization –> select the entity to which user want to integrate OneNote.

    • Click on the checkbox of OneNote integration. And also click on the Document Management. As below

    • Click on save and publish it

    •   Go to Settings > Document Management.
    •   Choose OneNote Integration.
    • The user can see the entity in the OneNote integration as shown below.

    • Click on finish.

     

    To turn off OneNote integration

    • Go to Settings > Document Management.
    • Choose OneNote Integration.

    • In the OneNote Integration Setting dialog box, uncheck all the entities and then choose Finish.
  • SLA Timer Configuration in Dynamics 365

    • The Service Level Agreement is a commonly used by service agents to ensure they deliver a consistent quality of service to every end-customer within a specified timeframe. 
    • Dynamics CRM has a SLA countdown timer feature that shows a Customer Service Representative (CSR) exactly how much time is left on the clock before the SLA is non-compliant, helping the CSR to focus their attention on the SLAs nearing non-compliance and keep within their target.

    SLA Configuration:

    • Navigate to settings –> Customization –> entities –>  Cases –> open default form and place
    • SLA Field On Case Form as shown below
    • Save and Publish form, then you will see that Field on form

    Creation of SLA Record

    • Enter the name of SLA and choose entity for creation of SLA.

    • After creating SLAs record Add SLA Items(SLA Details) To Record by clicking on “+” button

    Creation of SLA Items:

    • Present I am using two default SLA KPI’s and creating SLA Item like below

    • Same like above record create “Resolve by” record as like below

    Note: It’s must and should to give Failure after and warn after with appropriate data

    • Now SLA’s record is showing above 2 records on SLA Details sub grid
    • Now Activate SLA’s record by using Ribbon button “Active”
    • Now for set SLA record to case and SLA KPI’s we will write a process(workflow)
    • Create one workflow like below

    • In above workflow “set properties” for case record like this
    • Set Default SLA to SLA Field

    • Now save the workflow and activate show the result in case when you create new case like below it is running time on form
